Tuttobene is a titan of Nickelodeon's golden era, having worked on hundreds of episodes for the network. Hit live-action comedy series that Richard bolstered include All That, Kenan and Kel, The Amanda Show, and Sports Theater with Shaquille O'Neal.

In addition, Tuttobene's music can be heard in History Channel's Ancient Aliens, and America's Book of Secrets, Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker, Discovery's Ghost Asylum, and Investigation Discovery's Hardcover Mysteries, among others. His documentaries include, ESPN's Unstrung and CNN's Silicon Valley: The New Gold Rush.

Tuttobene moved from New York City to Los Angeles after a long and successful career as a recording and touring pianist to focus on a career as a composer. His experience as a session player, in which he was called on to play a very broad range of musical styles, as well as his formal classical training, has given him the drive to continually accept and explore new and diverse musical challenges.
